WHAT IS CONTACT FREE DELIVERY?

We understand the trust our customers place in us to deliver safe, freshly prepared food and we take this responsibility incredibly seriously. We believe Contact Free Delivery gives additional peace of mind to customers wishing to limit physical contact during this time.

If you request Contact Free Delivery, the driver will call you when they arrive to agree where your food should be left. They will stay at least two meters away to provide an extra level of care while you collect your pizza and confirm everything is correct.

To keep the process strictly contact free, there will be no payment transaction between the driver and customer. All payment will be made at the point of order.

WHY ARE YOU OFFERING CONTACT FREE DELIVERY?

Some customers are seeking an extra level of care in the current climate and as such, we have introduced Contact Free Delivery.

HOW DOES CONTACT FREE DELIVERY WORK?

Customers will be able to select a Contact Free Delivery on our website and App by selecting a tick box. Customers who order over the phone can request a Contact Free Delivery if they pay by card.

Your delivery driver will call you when they arrive to agree where your food should be left. They will stay at least two meters away to provide an extra level of care while you collect your pizza and confirm everything is correct.

WHAT PRECAUTIONS ARE BEING TAKEN TO PROTECT CUSTOMERS AND COLLEAGUES?

Our top priority is the safety of our colleagues and customers so we’re working closely with government and our environmental health Primary Authority, which has approved our safety measures in-store. We’ve made major changes such as Contact Free Delivery, stopping our collection service, ending cash handling, simplifying the menu, additional sanitisation and improving our already frequent hand washing. We’ve put in place floor markers to encourage colleagues to follow government advice for food production which says: ‘employers must take reasonable action to implement the two-meter rule’.

IS DOMINO'S SUITABLE FOR VEGETARIANS?

We want as many people as possible to enjoy the great taste of Domino's, which is why we're delighted to confirm all our cheese is made with vegetarian rennet and suitable for vegetarians. There's a great range of delicious veggie pizzas on our menu. Or you can even create your own legendary - or maybe that should be vegendary - pizza from scratch! If you are a vegetarian, we also recommend you inform your order-taker.

IS DOMINO'S SUITABLE FOR VEGANS?

We’re constantly innovating our menu to provide great choice and we’re proud to say we have launched our Vegan Friendly pizza range. The Vegan Margherita and Vegan Vegi Supreme pizzas, made with our vegan dough and vegan cheese alternative, are available in all stores, subject to availability. Customers can also enjoy our brand new vegan Garlic and Herb dip.

Our Classic Crust is not suitable for vegans as it includes milk-derived ingredients.

DOES DOMINO'S SELL ANY GLUTEN FREE FOOD?

We introduced our gluten free pizza in 2012 at no extra cost. We are proud to be the first major pizza company to launch a Coeliac UK accredited gluten free option. Most recently, we increased our gluten free menu offering to include some of our most popular pizzas, such as Pepperoni Passion and Texas BBQ, to be more consistent with our standard menu.

Our gluten-free pizzas are prepared by one dedicated member of staff in store to avoid any potential contamination with gluten. Under current COVID-19 safe guidance we are unable to maintain social distancing and ensure a gluten-free product. We are working hard to safely reintroduce popular menu items including our Gluten Free pizzas.

WHAT CONTROLS DOES DOMINO'S HAVE IN PLACE FOR MAKING GLUTEN FREE PIZZAS?

We've worked hard to develop our gluten free pizza and are pleased to offer customers a Coeliac UK accredited option, which tastes great too. Our pizza base is made in a dedicated central product facility and stored in sealed pouches before use. Once in store, we've implemented a range of measures to ensure our gluten free pizza is suitable for coeliacs. Domino's team members are specially trained, and each pizza is made from start to finish by the same individual. We also use freshly cleaned equipment to produce each pizza while handling fresh sauce and cheese. Finally, we conduct a hot rack check before any gluten free pizza is given to our customers.

As part of our Coeliac UK accreditation, stores are carefully audited against third party defined criteria. Each year, some of our stores are selected for audit in which we demonstrate all measures we take to provide gluten free options, as well as demonstrating how we make our gluten free pizzas. All our stores display a Coeliac UK sticker in the door. Our Food Technical team maintain on-going dialogue with Coeliac UK to provide updates to our gluten free menu and store audits.

To see which toppings are gluten free, take a look at our printed menus, app or visit here.

Whilst we and our ingredients suppliers do take precautions, we cannot guarantee any products are free from animal products or allergens due to the risk of cross-contamination.

WHAT IS DOMINO’S APPROACH TO THE USE OF ANTIBIOTICS IN ITS SUPPLY CHAIN?

At Domino’s, we believe antibiotics should not be used for disease prevention or as a growth promoter. We do not permit the use of antibiotics within our livestock supply chain for anything other than treatment purposes. This standard applies to all species of livestock and all geographical locations.

When it is necessary to treat an animal, it must be done under strict supervision with the vet deciding which type of antibiotic is appropriate. WHAT IS DOMINO’S APPROACH TO ANIMAL WELFARE?

Animal welfare is important to us and to our customers. Our Animal Welfare Policy sets out the standards we expect of our meat suppliers and the processes we use to ensure full compliance.

We work closely with our suppliers to ensure animals exhibit normal behaviour patterns, are properly supervised during transport, and are handled by trained workers. All animals are stunned prior to slaughter.

We demand suppliers comply with all EU, local and UK animal welfare legislation, but we also expect them to commit to further improvements. Each supplier is audited to ensure compliance with our minimum standards, and we agree specific targets and timelines for enhancements.

We continue to take steps to improve standards and are committed to providing transparent information, so our stakeholders are aware of the measures we are taking in this important area.

We offer Delight Cheese, which contains a third less fat than standard mozzarella, and work hard to provide up-to-date nutritional information, giving customers the confidence to make informed choices. We recommend three slices per person, or a whole personal or small sized pizza.

In January 2019, we introduced Delight pizzas to our menu to keep the classic taste of Domino's Our Delight range was developed to contain less than 650kcal per small pizza and around 100kcal per small slice.
