FRESHLY DELIVERED: DOMINO’S OFFICIALLY OPENS 1,400th STORE IN LARGS

The wait is finally over for pizza fans in Largs as Domino’s, the nation’s favourite pizza, officially opened its doors at 80B, Gallowgate Street, Largs KA30 8LZ on Monday, 20th April, marking Domino’s 1400th store opening.

The opening has delivered a significant boost to the local economy, creating 25 new jobs for the area. The store is proud to employ a diverse team of delivery drivers, pizza makers, and in-store team members from across the local community.

Beyond providing fresh pizza, the new store is looking forward to being a long-term fixture in the neighbourhood. The team is already getting stuck in by hosting a team litter pick around Largs in support of Spring Clean Scotland, an annual campaign which brings together people from across Scotland to tackle litter. Ran by environmental charity Keep Scotland Beautiful, the campaign sees thousands of volunteers spend time outdoors cleaning up the environment through sociable and fun, litter picking sessions. The Domino’s team collected 12kg of litter from the beach last week. The store has also committed to pizza donations to the local lifeboat center.

ening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony overseen by the Chairman of Largs FC, that brought together locals and pizza lovers. Customers enjoyed performances from Largs & District Pipes Band, as well as 140 free pizzas, cans of Coke, and 100ml tubs of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. The Domino’s Largs store team also donated £2,000 to Teenage Cancer Trust, which has two specialist units in Scotland.

It was fantastic to see such a great turnout for our opening ceremony, and we are already feeling very much at home. Our goal is to provide the best pizza and the best service to our new neighbours, while also playing our part in supporting local causes that matter to the people living here."

The store is open 7 days a week from 11.30am – 11pm serving up freshly prepared Domino’s favourites, including Pepperoni Passion and Vegi Supreme alongside new additions such as the newly-launched Italianos range.
