Caring and Sharing

A Domino’s Pizza is the perfect food to share with family or friends... but at Domino’s we are just as passionate about making our pizza as we are about sharing it.  We are proud of our product and want people to get involved as we value our relationships with the local community.

Local Store Activity:

Our aim is to be at the heart of the local community and our franchisees regularly interact with their local residents by sponsoring events and donating pizza to charitable causes.

Extraordinary Deliveries:

In our time we have made some extraordinary deliveries and we believe we can deliver almost anywhere – we have made and delivered fresh, hot pizza by dinghy in the floods, to the top of the Blackpool Tower and to a customer who was feeling peckish on a train, so we delivered to him as the train stopped at the station.

School tours:

We operate a national school tour programme, whereby our stores invite local groups of children for a guided tour of the store and a lesson in pizza making.

Our teams in store take great care to explain what Domino’s is all about and the children are given a uniform and a junior pizza making certificate.  These visits prove to be not only lots of fun, but a real education for any child.  They leave the store with a great memory to share with their family and friends – not to mention a big smile on their face.

Domino’s Charity Partners

In the UK, Domino’s is proud to support Rays of Sunshine and Special Olympics Great Britain.  Rays of Sunshine is a children’s charity that grants wishes to seriously and terminally ill children and Special Olympics Great Britain provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with learning disabilities.

In Northern Ireland, Domino’s supports the Northern Ireland’s Children’s Hospice (NICH) and in the Republic of Ireland, Domino’s supports Barretstown.

Domino’s also works with Pennies, the electronic charity box.  Domino’s was the first company to sign up to Pennies when the charity began in 2010.  Donations are made online by our customers who are asked if they wish to round up their orders to the nearest pound.  The charities listed all benefit from Pennies and each year a considerable amount is raised.
