Domino’s Pizza, the pizza delivery expert, is set to create 20 full and part-time jobs in Herne Bay when it opens a new store later this month [June, 2015].

The store, located at 80 High Street, will come as a welcome employment boost to the area and Domino’s is actively recruiting for a range of roles including pizza makers, customer service staff and delivery drivers.

Bob Dhillon, Area Manager of the new store, said: “We’re really looking forward to opening our doors and delivering freshly made piping hot pizza to all of the pizza lovers of Herne Bay. We’re keen to hear from applicants in the local area who can deliver exceptional customer service, and demonstrate integrity, honesty and reliability, as well as having a real passion for freshly made pizza.”

At induction, as well as throughout their career, Domino’s offers its employees full training, ranging from dough management and food hygiene for pizza makers through to road safety for all delivery drivers. Domino’s Pizza recruits on the basis of ability and, as many team members go on to management positions in under two years, this recruitment drive is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to either develop new skills or who are in search of a second job.

Domino’s Pizza believes in opportunities for all. The company is an Age Positive Employer Champion, which means that it has been recognised for its commitment to welcoming applicants of all ages.
